2. PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect information from you in various ways, including through information you provide to us directly, information we or other third parties automatically collect or infer, and information we receive from third parties. This includes data that identifies you personally whether directly (e.g., your name) or indirectly (e.g., information about your online use). We refer to such data as personal information or personal data throughout this Policy.

A. Information You Provide

We collect information you directly provide to us through our Site, in our stores and through your other interactions with us. But if you choose not to provide or allow information that is necessary for the Site or certain features, the Site or features may not be available or function correctly.

B. Information We Automatically Collect

When you visit or interact with our Site, we, our service providers, and certain third parties may use a variety of technologies such as cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, log files, heat mapping and other technologies to automatically or passively collect certain information about your online activity through our Services and on third party sites. Please note that we automatically collect the following information about you:

  • Identifiers and Device Information. We automatically collect your Internet Protocol (IP) address when you visit our Site, and other information about your device including unique identifiers such as MAC address or information from the computer, mobile device, tablet or other device you use to access the Site, including but not limited to your device type, operating system and version, browser type and language, settings and configuration, and information about the location of your device.
  • Geolocation Data. We collect certain geolocation data when you use our Site:
    • General location. We may infer your general location (such as country, region, or city), for example by using your device’s IP address. We rely on this coarse location to maintain security and prevent fraud (for example, detect suspicious or unusual access patterns), present localized experiences (such as content availability), comply with regional laws and obligations (for example, consent/opt-out prompts and notices), and to measure and improve our services through aggregated analytics.
    • Precise geolocation. If you choose to allow the Site or Services to access location services through the permission system used by your device’s operating system or browser, we may collect the precise location of your device. We use your location information to assist you in finding nearby stores, for analytics purposes and to better understand how we can improve the Services. You can choose whether or not your device’s location information is shared with us by adjusting the settings on your device or browser.
  • Usage Information. We collect information about your usage of and activity on our Site, including the date and time you visit the Site, the areas, pages, or content of the Site that you visit or engage with, the frequency and duration of your activities (including but not limited to the amount of time you spend viewing or using the Site and the number of times you return to the Site), monitoring chat sessions (including with the involvement of bots), items that are added to or remain in your virtual cart on the Site, other click-stream or site usage data, emails that you open, forward or click-through to our Site, and other sites that you may visit. We may use third-party services that use software code to record your interactions with the Site. “Session Replay” technology helps us understand how users interact with Site. This technology captures user interactions, including mouse movements, clicks, taps, and scrolling activity, to help us identify usability issues and improve the Site. We use this information to analyze trends, administer the Site, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.

C. Information We Collect from Third Parties

We may collect personal information about you from third-party sources and combine it with information we have collected about you. This may include information from service providers who help us manage our business, co-marketing partners with whom we jointly offer products or services, social media platforms when you interact with us on their platform or log into our Site through them, and publicly available sources. For example, we may receive demographic or interest data about you from third-party data analytics providers to better tailor our marketing and advertising.

3. HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

In addition to the purposes described above, we may use your personal information for the following business purposes:

  • To fulfill or meet the reason you provided the information. For example, if you share your personal information to request a price quote or ask a question about our products or Services, we will use that personal information to respond to your inquiry. If you provide your personal information to purchase a product or service, we will use that information to process your payment and facilitate delivery.

  • For testing, research, analysis, and product development, including to develop and improve the Services.
  • To evaluate or conduct a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of our assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by us about our Services users is among the assets transferred.
  • As described to you when collecting your personal information or as otherwise set forth in applicable law.

We will not collect additional categories of personal information or use the personal information we collected for materially different, unrelated, or incompatible purposes without providing you notice.

4. WHEN WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We may share your personal information as follows:

  • Service Providers. We may share your information with our service providers that perform services on our behalf, such as web hosting, data analysis, information technology and related infrastructure, payment processing, order fulfillment, email delivery, auditing, customer service, and other services.

5. COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

We and our service providers and business partners use cookies and other tracking technologies (e.g., web beacons, pixel tags, SDKs) to collect information about you as described in Section 2B. Cookies are small data files stored on your hard drive or in device memory that help us improve the Services and your experience, see which areas and features of the Services are popular, and count visits. Web beacons (also known as “pixel tags” or “clear GIFs”) are electronic images that may be used in the Services or emails to help deliver cookies, count visits, and understand usage and campaign effectiveness.

You may be able to refuse or disable cookies by adjusting your browser settings. Because each browser is different, please consult your browser’s help menu for information. If you choose to disable cookies, however, some parts of the Services may not work properly.

We may also use analytics tools, including Google Analytics, to collect information about your use of the Services. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit the Services, what pages they visit, and what other sites they used prior to coming to the Services. We use the information we get from Google Analytics to maintain and improve the Services and our marketing. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to the Services is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use and the Google Privacy Policy.
